MUDEFORD Ferry could be back in action soon, with photographs showing the damaged pontoon being replaced.
The pontoon at the harbourside beach of Mudeford Sandbank suffered ‘significant damage’ during Storm Ciara.
It has meant the Mudeford Ferry, which operates between Mudeford Quay and Mudeford Sandbank, has been out of action since November last year.
On Tuesday, operators confirmed a new pontoon had arrived at Mudeford Sandbank by barge.
Photographs taken on Wednesday show works to replace the pontoon were underway.
A completion date is yet to be confirmed.
