AS summer draws to a close and the nights get longer, visitors to Corfe Castle can pay a visit to see its resident ravens.
Earlier this year it was revealed that the castle was once as important as the Tower of London and the similarities don't stop there.
Ravens returned to the historic Purbeck monument in 2003, but didn't nest until earlier this year, when three fledglings were born.
Now, until the end of October, visitors can catch an evening tour every Tuesday at 7pm.
While the ravens feed off site during the day, they return to roost in the castle's keep.
