THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
REBECCA TRAVERS, 40 and of Ringwood Road in Poole, admitted theft from a shop after stealing health supplements valued at £446.83 from Holland & Barrett at The Dolphin Centre in Poole on January 1. She was handed a community order lasting until June 10, 2025, and ordered to pay compensation of £223.42.
ELLIOTT OWEN, 22 and of Langside Avenue in Poole, admitted to the attempted theft of a pedal cycle valued at £3240 in Castlepoint in Bournemouth on November 8, 2023. He was conditionally discharged for a period of two years. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £150, a victim surcharge of £26 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
ALISON DEAN, 43 and of Herbert Avenue in Poole, was found guilty of dropping a cigarette and leaving it in Kerley Road in Poole on October 30, 2023. She was fined £220, ordered to pay costs of £200 and a victim surcharge of £88.
DIEGO RON, 38 and of Meyrick Road in Bournemouth, admitted theft from a shop after stealing a pair of Nike trainers valued at £67.99 from Deichmann in Bournemouth on April 4. He was conditionally discharged for a period of nine months. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £67.99.
CONOR MCILVENNY, 56 and of Ken Road in Bournemouth, admitted driving while disqualified in Seabourne Road in Bournemouth on March 12. He got six points on his licence. He was also fined £461, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £184 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
SAMUEL WILLIAM MEIGH, 27 and of Northcote Road in Bournemouth, admitted two counts of assault by beating after assaulting two males at Asda in St Paul’s Road in Bournemouth on March 12. He admitted attempted theft from a shop after attempting to steal two bottles of Jack Daniels valued at £40.85 from the same Asda store, also on March 12. He admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from a period of imprisonment. He admitted two counts of theft from a shop after stealing meat valued at £160.42 from Waitrose in Ashley Road in Poole on March 19, and stealing items to an unknown value from the Co-op in Ashley Road in Poole on August 6, 2023. He admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class A, namely heroin, at Hinton Road in Bournemouth on June 12. He was handed an eight-week prison sentence suspended for six months. He was fined £100, ordered to pay compensation of £100 and costs of £60.
TIMOTHY TINTON, 44 and of no fixed address, admitted five counts of theft from a shop after stealing alcohol valued at £62.80 from a Co-op in Bournemouth on December 19, 2023, stealing goods valued at £13.50 from a Co-op in Bournemouth on December 20, 2023, stealing goods valued at £247.78 from Boots in Christchurch Road in Bournemouth on March 14, stealing goods valued at £132 from Boots in Christchurch Road in Bournemouth on March 3, and stealing alcohol and other items valued at £130.60 from a Co-op in Bournemouth on September 4, 2023. He admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from a period of imprisonment. He was handed a ten-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. He was also fined £50 and ordered to pay compensation of £586.68.
JOHN KEISTER, 46 and of Kingland Road in Poole, admitted breaching a domestic violence protection order in Poole on June 12. He was fined £50.
