EMERGENCY services responded to a head-on car crash in Winton on Thursday afternoon.
Dorset Police received a report at 2.09pm of a two-vehicle crash at the junction of Heron Court Road and Charminster Road.
The road was blocked by the incident, causing heavy traffic in the area.
Buses were also diverted, with Morebus announcing changes to its U3, 5 and 5A services.
The bus operator tweeted shortly after the crash: “Buses will divert missing Heron Court Road, Stokewood Road in both directions.
“Winton Banks towards Bournemouth will also not be served. We anticipate this not lasting long and we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused.”
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "At 2.09pm on Thursday, June 13, we received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision at the junction for Heron Court Road and Charminster Road in Bournemouth.
"No injuries have been reported."
