A RENEWED appeal has been launched to reunite the owners of three bikes expected to have been stolen.
25 bicycles believed to have been stolen were located at an address in Christchurch earlier this year.
A 52-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy from Christchurch were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and released on police bail as enquiries continued.
Following extensive enquiries, a red, silver and blue GT mountain bike that is believed to have been stolen, has since been recovered.
Police Constable Luke Booth, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to make enquiries into this matter and I am keen to identify the owner of this latest bike that has been recovered.
“I would urge anyone who recognises the description and thinks they may be the owner, to please come forward and give as much detail as possible, including serial numbers and distinguishing marks, so we can confirm ownership.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55240052077.
Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
