TUI has celebrated the opening of its new store in Bournemouth.

The travel company unveiled its new branch at Castlepoint shopping centre for the first time on Friday.

Customers were welcomed in from 9.30am and treated to a glass of fizz to mark the occasion.

Staff also hosted activities, with some great prizes up for grabs, and mascot Captain T was on hand to keep children entertained.

In a social media post prior to the opening, staff at the TUI store said: “Exciting news: we’re celebrating our new store opening at Castlepoint Bournemouth today and we’d love for you to join us.

"Pop in to get holiday advice, book your dream escape, sort your travel money and more.

"Come and celebrate with us."

TUI Castlepoint is open 9.30am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sunday.

The travel agent also has branches in Wimborne Road, Winton, and another in Poole town centre.
