The following roadworks are being carried out within the BCP Council area by the council and various utility companies this week:
1. Alford Road – junction with Glenferness Avenue
Temporary road closure on 3 July 2023 until 26 July 2024 during BCP works on a nearby cycleway. Signed diversion route in operation.
2. Avalon (Poole) – at junction with Sandbanks Road
Temporary traffic signals on 17 June until 28 June during SGN installation and maintenance works.
3. Barrack Road (Christchurch) – at Railway Bridge
Temporary carriageway restrictions on 3 June until 12 July during BCP works for re-waterproofing the railway bridge.
4. Brudenell Avenue (Poole) – junction with Shore Road
Various carriageway restrictions (including a small road closure) on 1 April until 30 August during SGN installation and maintenance works. Signed diversion route in operation.
5. Clifton Road – junction with Southbourne Overcliff Drive
Temporary road closure on 28 May until 12 July during SGN installation works. Signed diversion route in operation.
6. Crichel Mount Road (Poole) – jct Sandbanks Road to jct Minterne Road
Temporary road closure on 3 June until 25 June during SGN installation works. Signed diversion route in operation.
7. Fairmile Road (Christchurch) – junction Clarendon Road to outside 40
Temporary (night-time) traffic signals on 19 June until 20 June during BT works to replace a noisy/rocking access cover.
8. Haven Road (Poole) – junction with Canford Crescent/opposite St Anns Hospital
Temporary carriageway restrictions, including a road closure of Canford Crescent on 17 June until 21 June during BCP installation works for a new development. Signed diversion route in operation.
9. Herbert Avenue (Poole) – outside 109
Temporary traffic signals on 11 June until 18 June during SGN works to locate and repair a leak.
10. Hunt Road (Poole) – near junction with Ringwood Road
Temporary traffic signals on 10 June until 21 June during SGN installation works.
11. Kinson Road – outside 230a
Temporary traffic signals on 18 June during BT essential installation and maintenance works.
12. Leven Avenue – junction with Glenferness Avenue
Temporary road closure on 20 May until 23 July during BCP works to construct a raised cycle lane. Signed diversion route in operation.
13. Links Road (Poole) – outside 24
Temporary traffic signals on 17 June until 18 June during Wessex Water works to replace a rocking/noisy access cover.
14. Lorne Park Road – junction with Stafford Road
Temporary road closure on 29 April until 24 July during SWW works to make a new connection. Signed diversion route in operation.
15. Madison Avenue – junction with Holdenhurst Avenue
Temporary traffic signals on 19 June during BT essential installation and maintenance works.
16. Magna Road (Poole) – junction with Wheelers Lane to outside 94
Temporary traffic signals on 11 May until 21 June during BCP maintenance and installation works.
17. Mannings Heath Road (Poole) – at junction with Broom Road
Temporary traffic signals on 17 June until 19 June during BT maintenance works.
18. Muscliffe Road – junction with Calvin Road
Temporary road closure on 3 June until 17 June during SGN works to locate and repair a leak. Signed diversion route in operation.
19. Normandy Way (Poole) – link road between Lake Drive and Normandy Way
Temporary road closure on 15 April until 19 July during SGN installation and maintenance works. Signed diversion route in operation.
20. Richmond Wood Road – junction Charminster Road to jct Howard Road
Temporary road closure on 13 May until 5 July during SGN installation works. Signed diversion route in operation.
21. Ridley Road – junction with Calvin Road
Temporary road closure on 3 June until 17 June during SGN works to locate and repair a leak. Signed diversion route in operation.
22. Ringwood Road (Poole) – junction Parkstone Heights to outside 46
Temporary traffic signals on 13 May until 1 September during SGN installation works.
23. Rosemary Road (Poole) – junction with Lavinia Road
Temporary traffic signals on 17 June until 28 June during SGN installation and connection works.
24. Samson Road (Poole) – junction with Lake Road
Temporary road closure on 3 June until 21 June during SGN installation works. Signed diversion route in operation.

34. Wimborne Road (Poole) – outside 124
Temporary (night-time) traffic signals on 19 June until 20 June during Wessex Water maintenance and installation works.
35. Wimborne Road – in service road between School Lane and Kinson Road
Temporary road closure on 10 June until 17 June during SSEPD fault locating and repair works. Signed diversion route in operation.
