A DIY festival celebrating roots music will return to Dorset this summer.
The Rustic Stomp will take place at Pike’s Farm in Organford between July 12 and 14.
Organiser Ski Daddle said: "The Rustic Stomp is the perfect to come and see some of your favourite local country, hoedown and skiffle bands, whilst at the same time being introduced to new music from the international and global scene.
“Bands have often graced the UK for the first time at the Rustic Stomp and then gone on to garner a national following, retiring year after year.
“There is nothing quite like the Rustic Stomp."
The Rustic Stomp is a unique festival that's been running in Dorset under several names for more than a decade.
It came into being after organisers of The Dark Holler, Wonky Donk and the Organford Fair joined forces to create one event.
Hawkeye Houlihan, who was one of the organisers of the Wonky Donk festival, said: "Each year we are aiming to increase the accessibility of this type of music to a wider audience and promote the local artists that provide the backbone to the scene, as well as bring in some top-ranking national and international stars."
Rustic Stomp is described as an “eclectic mix” of the finest roots music from the international, national and local roots scene.
This year sees the return of headliners Moonshine Wagon, heavy-bluegrass band from the Basque Country formed in 2013 in Vitoria.
Angry Zeta will be making their first appearance at the festival alongside big hitters from the roots-Americana scene including Frank from Blue Velvet, The Boot Heel Playboys, Jayke Orvis & The Band of Brothers and the Joli Blon Cajun Band together with local favourites like the Trav Cats, Ribble, The Jimmy Hillbillies, Dead Horse Bay, 16 String Jack and Burg & The Vagabond Choir.
As well as the line-up of more than 60 rootsy acts, there is a barn this year to help weatherproof the event.
There will also be silent disco, The Midnight Cowboy, vegan food courtesy of Fresh Rootz, improved facilities and more.
