THE removal of more structures from the former atomic site at Winfrith has been agreed.

The latest application, for the removal of 13 portacabins, is part on the on-going process of de-commissioning the experimental former Steam Generating Heavy Water Reactor and its associated structures.

Elsewhere in the wider Purbeck area Swanage Cricket Club has been granted consent to install solar panels on its Pavilion in Ulwell Road, reducing the club's energy costs.
