A 33-YEAR-OLD Christchurch man is wanted by police in connection to the Hunt Road stabbing on June 11.
Dorset Police has appealed to the public to help find 33-year-old Jordan McClay in connection to the stabbing in Hunt Road, Somerford.
Mr McClay has been described as five feet eight inches tall and of a medium build with brown hair.
Detective constable Emily Lovejoy, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries to try and locate Jordan McClay.
“I am now appealing to any members of the public with information regarding his whereabouts to please come forward.
“While we have no information to indicate McClay presents a risk to members of the public, anyone who sees him is urged not to approach him but to dial 999 immediately.”
Emergency services were called to Hunt Road at 12.01pm on June 11 for reports a man sustained stab wounds.
The victim was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.
Although police initially arrested a man in his 40s, he was later de-arrested.
