A RETIREMENT living development in Wimborne will become host to a summer party later this week.
On Thursday, Wimborne retirees are invited to a summer garden party at the McCarthy Stone retirement village, The Old Market Village.
Attendees will be treated to a glass of fizz, delicious light bites, and live music, including a musical performance by international jazz vocalist, Jodie Elms.
And for the first time, guests will have the opportunity to take a tour of the communal lounge and on-site bistro at Market House, one of the two developments that make up The Old Market Village.
Verity McKay, divisional marketing manager at McCarthy Stone, said: “We’re incredibly excited to host our summer garden party at The Old Market Village next week.
“It’s a brilliant opportunity to bring the community together and for them to experience first-hand the little details unique to the McCarthy Stone lifestyle.
“Our beautiful grounds are the perfect setting for a celebration, with lots happening on the day to keep guests entertained, including fantastic vocals from Jodie Elms, who had a number one hit in Italy.”
Bookings are required to reserve a place at the summer garden party and can be made by calling 0800 1533 076.
