A CEMETERY in Bournemouth has been targeted by vandals.
Bournemouth Police has received reports of criminal damage and anti-social behaviour in and around East Howe Cemetery.
A bench at the site, made by the young people at the East Howe Centre, has been smashed, while another has been thrown into the bushes.
A fence has also been damaged, litter has been left, and there is evidence of drug taking, say police.
Officers wrote in a social media post on Tuesday: “Please continue to report any such behaviour so the Neighbourhood Policing Team can build up a picture of when this is happening and so target our patrols over the summer months.”
