A COUNTRY house will hold a sunset orchestral candlelight experience to the sounds of ABBA and Taylor Swift. 

After a successful year in 2023 of sunset candlelight experiences, Lumos Live will hold an event at Somerley House, Ringwood, on August 16. 

The string trio will play the best hits from ABBA, Taylor Swift and Adele surrounded by more than three thousand LED candles.

A spokesperson for Lumos Live said: "Lumos Live, the UK’s first independent illuminating concert experience, paying homage to the world’s best musician talent adding a modern take to classical music.

"With support from local vineyards and stately homes, Lumos Live is set to have sell-out shows across the board. The shows will consist of three-hour-long performances from a string trio playing the best hits from ABBA, Taylor Swift and Adele."

Somerley House is one of seven locations confirmed for this summer including Chelmsford, Sevenoaks, Portsmouth, Cobham, Warwickshire and Cobham.

Doors will open at 6pm for the event which will finish at 9.45pm.

The public is invited to bring picnic blankets and camping chairs to sit on with the event for eight years old and above.
