BENCHES in and around East Howe Cemetery have been smashed up and thrown in bushes according to police.
Bournemouth Police have reported that a bench made by young people at East Howe Centre has been 'smashed' with another thrown in a bush with a fourth fence also damaged.
Noted by the neighbourhood policing team, it stated there was also evidence of drug taking and litter has been left near the scene.
A spokesperson for Bournemouth Police said: "There have been reports of criminal damage and anti-social behaviour in and around East Howe Cemetery.
"The bench, made by the young people at the East Howe Centre has been smashed and a further one thrown into the bushes; the fence has also been damaged, there is evidence of drug taking and litter has been left.
"Please continue to report any such behaviour so the Neighbourhood Policing Team can build up a picture of when this is happening and so target our patrols over the summer months."
