MORE than £1,000 worth of goods were attempted to be stolen from a Waitrose in Lymington.
Police investigating the shoplifting incident have released an image of a man they want to identify in relation with the incident.
The incident, which involved the attempted theft of approximately £1,090 worth of goods, occurred at 12.50pm on Monday, May 20, 2024.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: "We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.
"Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam, or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us."
