AN investigation has been launched after a trailer full of mattresses was dumped in Bournemouth.
The fly tip was left in Duck Lane, near to the skatepark, in the area of West Howe.
It has remained there for ‘three or four weeks’, according to residents.
A BCP Council spokesperson said: “We have received reports of a fly tip at Duck Lane which is currently pending an investigation by the Waste Investigations Support and Enforcement (WISE) team.
“Once the team have completed their investigations, the waste will be removed if on council land.”
One resident told the Daily Echo: “It’s a trailer full of mattresses and it’s been there about three or four weeks.
“It has been reported, but it looks as though nothing has happened.”
