HUNDREDS of pounds worth of alcohol has been stolen from a Waitrose in Ringwood.
Police are investigating an incident involving the theft of nine bottles of spirits, valued between £200 and £300, which occurred just after Saturday, May 18.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary have released an image of a woman they would like to identify in connection to the shoplifting incident that took place in Waitrose, The Furlong, Ringwood.
The woman has been described as white, aged approximately 35-45 years, skinny with blonde hair, which was in a pony tail at the time of the incident, and she was wearing leggings, a white top and trainers.
A spokesperson for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: “We believe the woman in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge her, or anyone who knows her identity, to get in touch with us.
Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam, or doorbell camera footage that could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
