SINGER songwriter Charlie Landsborough is setting out on a new tour which will see him make a return visit to Bournemouth's Pavilion Theatre on March 13, 2009.
The tour follows hot on the heels of his forthcoming appearance on Songs of Praise with Aled Jones this month.
Charlie Landsborough not only has a striking voice but is as nice a chap as you could ever hope to meet.
Not surprising then that he has dedicated fans the world over - even as far afield as Australia, where his tour earlier this year won him a whole host of new admirers.
Although Charlie didn't taste fame until his 50s, having spent over 20 years as a schoolteacher, his rise was meteoric. Since his first big hit, What Colour is the Wind, he has never looked back.
Having written compositions himself that have been covered by many famous artists - often making it into the British charts - Charlie mixes his own material with that of other peoples', as well as throwing in a dose of humour for good measure.
On stage he is as entertaining as he is melodic.
Charlie and his five-piece band are well known for keeping concert-goers enthralled.
His heartfelt, telling lyrics and his very human anecdotes captivate his audiences wherever he performs.
His music, which ranges from inspirational to country, from ballad to anthem, truly hits the spot.
The live show will feature material from Charlie's latest album released earlier this year.
Called Under Blue Skies, it carries a raft of his own new material as well as a bonus album of live songs taken from Charlie's DVD, A Special Performance.
