THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

HANNAH ELPHICK, 34 and of Hatherden Avenue in Poole, admitted driving a vehicle when she was in such a position that she could not have proper control of the vehicle in Waterloo Road in Poole on June 23, 2023. She got three points on her licence. She was also fined £65, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

DAVID WHEELER, 44 and of no fixed address, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on August 3, 2023. He was fined £100.

PADDY MCCANN, 22 and of Bournemouth, admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class B, namely cannabis, at Tesco in Tower Park, Poole, on April 12. He also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Poole Magistrates' Court on June 17, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on April 12 at Dorset Police. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

PAUL HOGAN, 33 and of Hawthorn Road in Bournemouth, admitted possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely methamphetamine, in Mandale Road in Bournemouth on December 14, 2023. He also admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely in Mandale Road in Bournemouth, on December 14, 2023. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months.

PAUL BRENNAN, 60 and of Ringwood Road in St Leonard’s, admitted failing to provide a specimen to police for analysis in St Leonard’s on December 4, 2023. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £220, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £88 and costs of £350 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

WILF PICTON, 19 and of Derby Road in Bournemouth, admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely a police officer, in Derby Road in Bournemouth on April 16. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £500 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

ANDRE PATRICK, 58 and of St Anthony’s Road in Bournemouth, admitted two counts of drug driving, namely cocaine and benzoylecgonine, in Exeter Road in Bournemouth on October 31, 2023. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months and handed a community order lasting until June 19, 2025. He was also fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
