A POPULAR Dorset street food extravaganza is back for its three-day festival at Baiter Park.

The Dorset Street Food Festival has announced its comeback to Poole later this month.

Visitors can expect more than 20 food vendors serving foods from across the world such as churro vans, crepes, and burgers along with musical entertainment.

Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, and Caribbean are some of the confirmed cuisines available to visitors.

Street Food Warehouse, organisers of the festival said in a statement: “Dorset Street Food Festival has gone from strength to strength in the last couple of years and we are so excited to return with a bigger festival and more delicious food.

“Sharing some of the best street food from across the UK with locals and holidaymakers in such a stunning setting is a treat.

“Who wouldn’t want to grab a bite to eat, sip a cold beer, and watch the sun go down overlooking the bay with their friends?

"The festival is a fantastic opportunity for visitors to sample new and exciting cuisines, tuck into their old favourites and help us provide a platform for up-and-coming talents on the food scene.

“The people of Dorset have proved they have a huge appetite for high-quality food and we’re happy to return for another three days of fun.

"This year we’re ramping things up with more top-class traders, extended bars, and a bigger commitment to sustainability than ever before.

“We’re also excited to offer a new selection of live entertainment so you can enjoy some fantastic food alongside live music and a few surprises.

"Dorset Street Food Festival is the perfect place to spend your weekend with friends and family enjoying delicious food and good vibes all around. Get ready for full bellies and great memories.”

Doors for the event are open from 2pm until 11pm on Friday and 11am until 11pm the following two days, unless food sells out.

This event is free to attend but a ticket must be booked.
