STAFF at the new TUI store in Bournemouth have reported a successful first week.

The travel company opened its new branch at Castlepoint shopping centre on Friday, June 14.

Since then, the store has reported a ‘soar in foot-traffic’, and ‘fantastic feedback’ from customers.

Jaime Vaughan, regional sales manager of TUI Bournemouth Castlepoint, said: “We have been so excited about the opening of our shiny-new store.

"We’ve loved welcoming customers into the modern and spacious space, it’s got a lovely and warm atmosphere.

“In our first week of opening we booked holidays for over 170 passengers and the feedback we have had about the store has been fantastic.

"Customers have said they feel like they are on holiday the moment they walk in.

"Turkey is still proving to be one of our most popular destinations along with Majorca and Marella Cruises bookings.

"The team has particular expertise across cruise, Europe, the Caribbean, the USA and Asia, so we are ready to help our customers explore the world and create lasting memories with their loved ones.’’

The new TUI store features custom customer booths, a bureau exchange counter, advice bar and coffee machine.

It is open from 9.30am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, and 10.30am to 4.30pm Sunday.
