A ‘SUSPICIOUS incident’ at a campsite believed to be a person lurking in the bushes turned out to be a horse.
Ringwood police shared on social media that “summer demand” had led to an increase in emergency incidents and community work over the past weekend.
Officers attended the “suspicious incident” at a campsite where campers believed someone was lurking in the bushes but “thankfully it was a horse.”
During the weekend on June 22 and 23, a stolen vehicle was also recovered where the owner had not realised the vehicle was missing until police located it.
A vulnerable male was found on the A31 and was spoken to by emergency services.
Another male was removed from an address in Ringwood after reports of a “domestic in progress” incident.
Officers responded to an emergency call after reports that two vehicles had collided on the A338, luckily there were no serious injuries.
