THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:.

ADRIAN LASHLEY, 51 and of West Hill Road in Bournemouth, admitted theft from a shop after stealing energy drinks to the value of £91.20 from Co-op in Madeira Road in Bournemouth on January 21. He was ordered to pay compensation of £91.20.

JAMES PHILLIPS, 37 and of St Paul’s Lane in Bournemouth, admitted theft from a motor vehicle after stealing three dry robes, a pair of ice skates, walking boots, a toiletry bag, makeup and a torch, totalling a value of £1717.50, from a car in Central Car Park in Upper Hinton Road, Bournemouth, on February 4. He also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Poole Magistrates' Court on June 12, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on April 5. He was ordered to pay compensation of £1812.50.

BENJAMIN JONES, 41 and of Bournemouth, admitted criminal damage to property after drawing on a wall at a BCP Council owned car park, namely Avenue Road Car Park in Bournemouth, on April 15. He also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Poole Magistrates' Court on June 19, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on April 16. He was ordered to pay compensation of £100.

MICHAEL PAYNE, 50 and of Barnes Crescent in Bournemouth, admitted racially / religiously aggravated harassment / alarm / distress by words / writing in Bournemouth on April 20. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 18 months. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £350, a victim surcharge of £26, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

DOLLY MARSHALL, 33 and of Southbrook Close in Poole, admitted using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour with intent to cause fear of / provoke unlawful violence in Sherborn Crescent in Poole on September 10, 2023. She admitted racially / religiously aggravated intentional harassment / alarm / distress - words / writing towards a police constable in Sherborn Crescent in Poole on September 10, 2023. She admitted common assault of an emergency worker, namely a police constable, in Sherborn Crescent in Poole on September 10, 2023. She was conditionally discharged for a period of nine months. She was also ordered to pay compensation of £200.

ABDUL YAHYA, 37 and of Newcombe Road in Southampton, admitted drink driving on the A31 at Wimborne Minster on November 15, 2023. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months. He was also fined £276, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £110, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

BRADLEY CARTER, 19 and of Kavanagh Close in Blandford St Mary, admitted assault by beating after assaulting a woman in Mosaic Mews in Blandford St Mary on March 17. He was handed a community order lasting until December 23, 2025. He was also fined £150 and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

JOHN HEANEY, 58 and of Weymouth, admitted using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour with intent to cause fear of / provoke unlawful violence in Nuthatch Close in Weymouth on January 4. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £150.

RICHARD LAWRENCE JAMES, 48 and of Salisbury Street in Blandford Forum, was found guilty of posting a comment and personal details of a serving Dorset Police officer which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order imposed by Dorset Adult Court on January 15, 2018. He was handed a eight week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £250.

JACKSON MAXWELL-HAMILTON, 33 and of Bournemouth, admitted failing to comply with notification requirements on June 18, by failing to register a fixed address within seven days as required by his sex offender notification requirements. He was jailed for 28 days
