NEARLY £500 worth of meat and toothbrushes were stolen from a supermarket in Ringwood.
Officers are now appealing for information by issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to talk to in relation to the incident.
The theft took place at Waitrose, The Furlong, Ringwood on June 7.
A total of £410.78 worth of meat and Oral-B toothbrushes were taken between 5.05pm and 5.20pm.
The man is described as white, aged in his 50s, around 5ft 10 with short grey hair wearing blue jeans and a light blue t-shirt.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: “We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.
“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
“You can do this by calling 101, or by reporting online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting incident number 44240240709.”
