TWO KNIFE-WEILDING men reportedly broke into a Poole property with another later seen to be ‘dripping in blood’.
A large police presence was seen on Ashley Road in Poole after police received reports of an aggravated burglary at 6.13pm on Tuesday, June 25.
Members of the public reportedly saw two men enter a property in possession of a knife.
Officers attended and arrested a 24-year-old man from Poole on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
At the time of the incident residents reported seeing a man ‘covered in blood’ followed by multiple police cars, including unmarked vehicles and armed officers.
However, Dorset Police said there were no reported injuries.
A spokesperson said: “Dorset Police received a report at 6.13pm on Tuesday 25 June 2024 of an aggravated burglary at an address in Ashley Road in Poole.
“It is reported that two men were seen by members of the public to enter the property in possession of a knife.
“Officers attended and a 24-year-old man from the Poole area has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary. There are no reported injuries at this time.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area while enquiries are carried out.
“Officers from the local neighbourhood policing team can be approached by anyone with any information or concerns.”
