A knife has been found on Layton Road in Poole and has been recovered by police.
Dorset Police recovered the knife at around 7:30 pm on June 26 on Layton Road, Poole, after it received a report that it had been found.
It is unknown at this time who the knife belonged to or why it was on the street.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "At 7.23pm on Wednesday 26 June 2024, we received a report that a knife had been found in Layton Road in Poole.
"Officers attended and the knife was recovered."
Police have confirmed that there is nothing to suggest that the knife found is linked to an incident on Ashley Road that occurred on June 26 in which two men were seen breaking into a property with knives.
