A PERSON has been taken to hospital after a car overturned on to its roof in Bournemouth.
Emergency services attended Alma Road in Winton after reports of the single vehicle collision at 9.42am on Thursday, June 27.
Police blocked the road while the accident was dealt with and Morebus reported services were diverting due to the closure.
The ambulance service also attended the accident and took one person to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The vehicle was recovered at around 10.55am and the road reopened.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 9.42am to a report of a single vehicle collision in Alma Road in Bournemouth.
"It is reported that a car is on its roof.
"Officers in attendance with ambulance service.
"Recovery requested for the vehicle.
"One person has been taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not life-threatening or life changing.
"Road blocked at this time."
