CORFE Castle has enhanced its visitor experience with new accessible toilets.
The National Trust team at Corfe Castle recently added the Changing Places (CP) toilets to its Castle View visitor centre.
The facilities differ from standard accessible toilets, offering extra space, an adult-sized changing bench, height-adjustable basin and are heated to a comfortable 22C all year round.
It comes after a similar facility was introduced at Knoll Beach last year.
James Gould, property operations manager at Corfe Castle, said: "We are delighted to include a Changing Room toilet alongside our other facilities at Castle View.
"Everyone is welcome at our places and we hope to make days out for all as stress-free and enjoyable as possible."
The CP toilet upgrade was funded by Dorset Council, which secured £454,250 from the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities to add seven new toilets to the Dorset Council area.
Beyond the toilet facilities, the castle also has accessible amenities including a mobility scooter, which will be available from July.
Visitors can hire it from Castle View to ease their navigation around some areas of the castle.
Amenities like walking poles, ear defenders, and British Sign Language information via QR code are also available.
