A WOMAN escaped with minor injuries after getting trapped in a crash in Poole.
Emergency services rushed to an incident in Ringwood Road after reports of a single-car crash.
Upon arrival, a woman was found trapped in a car and had to be removed using a spinal board.
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident on Thursday afternoon, June 27.
At the time of the incident, a spokesperson for DWFRS said: “We are currently in attendance at a one-vehicle road traffic collision on Ringwood Road, Poole, following a 999 call at 4pm.
“We have crews from Poole and Redhill Park on the scene, and the stop has just come in at 5.05pm, confirming that one female casualty has been removed from the vehicle into the care of the ambulance service after the car roof was cut off.”
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “The road reopened at around 5.40pm yesterday. The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.”
