THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

DERRANT BLENMAN, 54 and of Green Road in Bournemouth, admitted driving while disqualified on the B3147 in Dorchester on March 20. He admitted possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis, in Weymouth on March 20. He was conditionally discharged for a period of three years and disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26.

BRENDON GENGE, 22 and of Dukes Parade in Blandford Forum, admitted two counts of possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely 5.22g of cocaine and 15.52g of diamorphine, in Madeira Road in Bournemouth on April 10, 2022. He admitted possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely 2g of cannabis, in Madeira Road in Bournemouth on April 10, 2022. He admitted possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place, namely a lock knife with a blade exceeding 7.62cm, in Madeira Road in Bournemouth on April 10, 2022. He was handed a community order lasting until June 24, 2025. He was also fined £650, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

JACK THOMPSON, 34 and of Oxford Road in Bournemouth, admitted two counts of racially / religiously aggravated intentional harassment / alarm / distress - words / writing in Bournemouth on April 23, 2023. He admitted two counts of theft from a shop after stealing a bottle of wine from the Co-op in Columbia Road in Bournemouth on June 21, 2023, and stealing a ready meal and two cans of Red Bull valued at £10 from Tesco Express in Southbourne Grove in Bournemouth on November 9, 2023. He was handed a community order lasting until December 24, 2025. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £260.

SAJID MUGHAL, 45 and of Meyrick Road in Bournemouth, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely at Asda in St Paul’s Road in Bournemouth, on April 4. He was conditionally discharged for a period of six months.

HELEN POWELL, 40 and of Alum Chine Road in Bournemouth, admitted two counts of drink driving in Belle Vue Road in Poole on April 9 and in West Hill Road in Bournemouth on April 18. She was handed a community order lasting until December 24, 2025, and disqualified from driving for 46 months. She was also ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

ANDREI CARACUIAN, 32 and of Wayside Road in St Leonard’s, admitted driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence in Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth on April 16. He got three points on his licence. He was also fined £115 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £46.

HUGO VAZVELHO, 26 and of Rosebury Road in London, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on September 17, 2021. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay costs of £60.

MARTIN JAMES STAPLES, 44 and of Meadow View in Wimborne, admitted failing to give information to Dorset Police on September 4, 2023, relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He also admitted speeding on the A338 Wessex Way on May 15, 2023. He got six points on his licence, was fined £150, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60, and costs of £150 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
