THE owners of a children’s café have issued a desperate plea for support after going a day without a single customer.
Kids Play Café, in Charminster Road, had no customers on Thursday (June 27) and only a ‘handful’ in total through the week.
In a social media post, the business said it needed help from the public if it was to survive the summer months.
The post said: “We are very sad to say we’ve had no customers today at all and only a handful this week in total.
"We need your help if we are going to survive through the summer and be here in the winter.
"Don’t forget us on sunny days too and please support local businesses.
"We have several wall fans running to keep the café nice and cool and it’s shaded from the sun so no sun cream needed.
"Please share this post and together we can hopefully see some of your lovely children playing again in the café soon."
Kids Play Café has also said it will be running a Groupon offer all summer.
