A ROAD was closed while emergency services responded to a man in need of medical assistance.
Dorset Police received a report at around midnight on June 29 from South Western Ambulance Service that a man required medical assistance in Ashley Road.
Officers attended the scene and closed the road to assist the ambulance service before the man was taken to hospital.
Initial enquiries concluded that there was no third-party involvement.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Police said: "Dorset Police received a report at 12.09am on Saturday 29 June 2024 from the ambulance service of a man requiring medical attention in Ashley Road in Poole.
"Officers attended with the ambulance service to assist with road closures and the man was taken to hospital for treatment.
"Initial enquiries were carried out and it was established that there was no third-party involvement and no suspicious circumstances. No further police action was required."
