Railway lines blocked after train hits 'obstruction'
SOUTH Western Railway has warned of disruption after a train hit an ‘obstruction’ on the track at Christchurch.
All lines in the area have been blocked following the incident, which was first reported at around 3pm on Sunday.
Train services running through Christchurch Station may be cancelled, delayed or revised, passengers have been told.
Disruption is expected until 8pm.
