AFTER an incident at Boscombe Pier, a man has been taken to hospital due to requiring medical attention.
The man was taken to hospital after needing medical attention near Boscombe Pier on June 29 at around 6pm.
South Western Ambulance Service, HM Coastguard and police all attended the incident with officers assisting the scene before they left at 6.35pm.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 6.13pm on Saturday 29 June 2024 from the ambulance service requesting assistance as it treated a man in need of medical attention in the area of Boscombe Pier.
"Officers attended to assist and the man was taken to hospital. Police left the scene at around 6.35pm.
"This was a medical incident and there was no requirement for any further police action."
Described as an ambulance-led incident, HM Coastguard was sent to the scene at 6pm.
