A CYCLIST was taken to hospital after being involved in a bus crash in Poole.
The road was partially blocked whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
The cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Mike Freeborn, Morebus area operations manager said: “One of our vehicles was involved in an incident this afternoon.
“A cyclist reportedly left the pavement into the side of the bus. His injuries are thought to be minor, but he was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
“We wish him a speedy recovery.
“There were no injuries to our driver or anyone on the vehicle.”
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “At 3.34pm on Wednesday 3 July 2024, we received a report of a road traffic collision involving a bus and a cyclist on Eagle Road in Poole.
“The cyclist has been taken to hospital for treatment of a minor injury.”
The road was reopened around 4.30pm.
