Wenzel's has confirmed it will open a new bakery in Poole months after opening its first in Dorset.
London bakery, Wenzel's The Bakers, will open its second bakery in Poole at 127 Parkstone Road near the Civic Centre on July 12.
To celebrate the occasion, Wenzel's has promised a 'fun day' as part of its opening with activities, giveaways, and a 'warm welcome' to all their new customers.
Founder and Chairman Peter Wenzel from Wenzel's the Bakers said: "We are excited to bring Wenzel's to Poole and to be part of this vibrant community.
"We look forward to meeting our new customers and sharing our love for quality and baked goods with them.
"Our Fun Day is a small way to thank you and invite everyone to experience what Wenzel's is all about."
Among the free goodies, customers can try an assortment of complimentary treats, get a free pair of sunglasses and also a branded beach ball 'ideal for the beautiful Poole coastline'.
Recruitment for the store is open with three positions currently available on its website.
A spokesperson for Wenzel's said: "Wenzel's the Bakers have a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality baked products, and their new Poole store will be no exception.
"From freshly baked bread and pastries to sandwiches and cakes, there’s something for everyone to enjoy."
Alongside its new Poole store, Wenzel's has also confirmed it will soon open a store in Bournemouth with listed jobs available in Southbourne giving the suggestion a new store will also open in the area on Southbourne Grove.
The bakery operates in 100 stores across the UK, including over 50 in London.
First established in 1975 in North London by Peter, it describes itself as a 'family business' with a mission to offer 'the best of baking at reasonable prices to our batch of lovely customers'.
The fun day will start at 11am and continue throughout the day with the public told to 'pop down and take full advantage of all the goodies and activities on offer'.
Wenzel's opened its first bakery in Poole in The Dolphin in December 2023.
