LINES are disrupted after reports of a passenger being taken ill on the train.

Due to a passenger being taken ill at Wareham the line towards Weymouth is disrupted.

Travel disruption is expected until 6pm.

A spokesperson for Southwestern Railway said: “We have been informed that a passenger has taken ill onboard a train at Wareham.

“Until the person's condition has been assessed by staff from the Ambulance Service the train is unable to continue its journey.

“For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.

“We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.”
