A WEATHER warning is in place for heavy rain.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for rain from 6pm today, July 8, until 3am tomorrow, July 9.
The forecasters expect persistent rain, becoming heavy in the evening, which may impact travel and infrastructure.

The agency said on the impact: “Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer.
“Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer.
“Some interruption to power supplies and other services likely.”
The weather warning is in place for south west England and south Wales, including Portsmouth, the Isle of Wight and Reading.
All of Dorset is subject to the warning, as well as Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.
