WORK has started on two state-of-the-art commercial units at a “cutting-edge”, energy-efficient industrial and warehouse development.
The 50,000 sq ft development at Magna Park, Poole, is expected to generate more than 50 new jobs upon completion and 20 jobs during construction.
The buildings are due to be completed in late spring, 2025.
Nathan Ross, project leader for WH White, said: "We are proud to be fostering economic growth and job creation in the area and delighted to have appointed Poole based contractor, Jade Aden, to construct Magna 20 and Magna 30.”
Magna 20 (20,000 sq ft) and Magna 30 (30,000 sq ft) will soon be marketed to businesses, offering prime opportunities for expansion and development in modern and accessible premises.
Magna Park will also soon welcome food production company Country Fare, which will relocate to its new 80,000 sq ft facility at 10 Magna Park this summer.
Grahame Gibson, managing director at Jade Aden, added: “We are delighted to be appointed by WH White on this project and are targeting delivery of carbon neutral buildings here.
“The site will employ 20 staff and multiple sub-contractors from across the region.”
