SPECIALIST firearms officers were seen raiding a home in Bournemouth as part of a criminal investigation.
Officers were seeing carrying out a raid after a warrant was issued at a property.
A section 8 PACE warrant was carried out during the morning of July 11 at an address in Corhampton Road.
A spokesperson for Bournemouth Police said: “Boscombe Neighbourhood Policing Team have conducted a Section 8 warrant this morning to disrupt drug activity.
“Colleagues from the Poole Neighbourhood Policing Team & Tactical Firearms Team assisted us with entry to the property.
“We obtained the warrant using information from the local community which resulted in a positive warrant execution.
“We regularly use community information to assist us in targeting and disrupting criminality in the area.
“We encourage our local residents to report information to us using our online reporting system or 101 phoneline.”
Dorset Police also confirmed a small amount of class B drugs were discovered and the occupant of the property was dealt with by community resolution.
