CASTLEPOINT shopping centre’s third new business this year has been announced.

Kitchenware brand ProCook is set to open its second Dorset shop at the shopping centre off Castle Lane West, Bournemouth

Bosses at the Gloucester-based business anticipate it will open in late October, representing a £300k capital investment.

Up to 10 jobs will be created in the area, according to a spokeswoman for ProCook.

Founded nearly three decades ago, ProCook designs, sources and retails a “high quality” range of cookware, kitchen accessories and tableware.

It has 58 stores nationally – including one in Dorchester – selling 1,400 kitchenware products.

ProCook’s management have set themselves a medium-term target of 100 new stores in the UK, with a plan to open between five and 10 new shops every year.

ProCook is the third business to announce it will join Castlepoint this year including international fashion brand Mango and travel agent TUI.

Elsewhere, Waterstones has shut to move to the former Clinton’s cards unit that closed earlier this year.

Following the closure, the empty unit will be replaced with international fashion brand Mango with its first Dorset store.
