BCP Council is urging football spectators visit Bournemouth's pubs, bars and restaurants to watch the Euros final.

This comes after speculation of a possible viewing area in the Lower Gardens being installed to watch the final of the Euros tournament this Sunday.

The council has confirmed this is not the case and there will not be a TV screen in the gardens.

Speaking on the final, Cllr Vikki Slade, leader of BCP Council, said: “Many bars, pubs, restaurants, and other hospitality venues across the area are welcoming people in to cheer on the team, making Sunday a great opportunity for fans to not only support the Three Lions, but also the great businesses in our towns too.”

The match kicks off this Sunday at 8pm as fans see Spain go head-to-head with England.

Dancing Jug, The George Tapps, and O'Neill's are among the pubs showing the game of the season.

The Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) will also be opening its doors to avid spectators and will be serving cheap drinks and hot food.
