A MAN was assaulted before making his way across the town centre where he was found in an Asda car park. 

Officers were called to the underground car park of the supermarket in St Pauls Road, Bournemouth, on Thursday evening, July 11. 

The victim, aged in his 20s, was found with injuries that officers believe are not serious but he went to hospital for treatment. 

Dorset Police’s spokeswoman would not go into detail about the nature of the man’s injuries. 

He was assaulted in St Stephen’s Road off Richmond Hill earlier that evening, according to the spokeswoman. 

She said: “Dorset Police received a report at 7.21pm on Thursday 11 July 2024 that a man was located with injuries in the car park at Asda in St Pauls Road in Bournemouth. 

“It was reported that the man was assaulted in St Stephen’s Road earlier in the evening.  

“The victim – aged in his 20s – sustained injuries that are not believed to be serious and attended hospital for treatment. 

“Enquiries are continuing into the incident. No arrests have been made.”
