POLICE are searching for a man after a woman was reportedly assaulted in a Canford Heath home.
Officers were called to the area at around 10am on Friday, July 12 after reports raising concern for the welfare of a woman.
After attending an address in Chaldon Road, the woman was located however it was reported that a disturbance had occurred.
It was said the woman was assaulted by a man but no serious injuries were reported.
The man left the area and officers are now carrying out searches for him.
While on the scene, officers arrested another man, aged 39 and from Bournemouth, and a woman, 38 and of Poole, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.
A spokesperson said: “Dorset Police received a report at around 10am on Friday 12 July 2024 raising concern for the welfare of a woman in the Canford Heath area.
“Officers attended an address in Chaldon Road and the woman was located. It was reported that a disturbance had occurred inside and a woman was assaulted by a man, but no serious injuries were reported.
“The man subsequently left the area and officers carried out searches. No arrests have been made and enquiries are continuing to locate the man.
“During the attendance at scene, officers arrested another man – aged 39 and from Bournemouth – and a 38-year-old woman from Poole on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.”
