A MAN ‘fell to the ground’ following a hit and run incident in Bournemouth.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following a report of the fail-to-stop road traffic collision in Bournemouth.
It was reported that between 10pm and 11.45pm on Thursday June 27, a collision occurred in Holdenhurst Road near the Premier Sports car showroom involving a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian- a man in his 40’d fell to the ground and sustained an injury to his chin.
It was reported that the male driver of the car stopped briefly to check on the victim before he left without providing his details.
Police Constable Duncan Roberts, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and make enquiries into the full circumstances of what occurred.
“I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.
“I am also keen to hear from any motorists who were driving in the vicinity and may have captured relevant dashcam footage.
“Finally, I would urge the driver of the car involved to do the right thing and please come forward so we can take your account of what happened.”
