A BOURNEMOUTH leisure centre has installed a pool obstacle course in time for the summer holidays.
Pelhams leisure centre in Bournemouth has announced it has installed a brand-new pool attraction called the 'raptor run'.
Aimed at children eight years or older, the attraction contains obstacles, spikes and a tail slide guaranteed to entertain children this summer.
On behalf of BH Live, Pelhams Centre Manager Summer Sweatland said: “Pelhams is already such a hub of activity for young people.
"We hope lots of visitors will have fun making a splash on the Raptor Run."
Due to open on July 23, sessions will run on weekends and Tuesday mornings during school holidays and will cost £7 for juniors and £8 for adults.
The attraction will also be included in BH Live Active’s junior and adult memberships.
A spokesperson for BH Live said: "This latest investment by BH Live has been created to expand the centre’s junior activity offering and encourage more young people to stay active.
"As well as Raptor Run, the centre is also home to a BH Live Swimming Academy, teaching thousands of children to swim every week."
