PURBECK Police have seized various drugs and an extendable baton from a Swanage home. 

Following a search of a Swanage house on Northbrook Road on July 16, officers from Purbeck North and Purbeck South have seized a variety of drugs, an extendable baton, and several mobile phones.

Police have stated investigations are still ongoing.

A spokesperson for Purbeck Police said: "Earlier today officers from the Purbeck North and Purbeck South Neighbourhood Policing Teams along with their response colleagues conducted an enquiry at an address in Northbrook Rd, Swanage where a large amount of various drugs were located.

"Also seized was an extendable baton and numerous mobile phones.

"The investigation in to these finds are ongoing."
