THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
GARY ALBIN, 43 and of Methuen Close in Bournemouth, admitted assault by beating after assaulting a woman in Hull Road in Poole on February 2. He was handed a community order lasting until July 7, 2025, and a restraining order was made for the victim. He was also fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
LESLIE COOPER, 39 and of Queen Street in Kidderminster, admitted drug driving, with Methylamphetamine in their blood, not less than 75 micrograms per litre, in Gravel Hill in Poole on December 23, 2023. They admitted drug driving, with Methylamphetamine in their blood, namely 62mg per litre, in Safety Drive in Poole on December 17, 2023. They admitted drug driving, with DELTA-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in their blood, namely 3.0mg per litre, in Safety Drive in Poole on December 17, 2023. They admitted possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis, in Safety Drive in Poole on December 17, 2023. They were disqualified from driving for 16 months and fined £160.
LUKE COOPER, 38 and of Ringwood Road in Poole, admitted using threatening / abusive words / behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, in Ringwood Road in Poole on April 28. He admitted theft from a shop after stealing items from Tesco in Ringwood Road in Poole on April 28. He was handed a community order lasting until July 7, 2025, with a curfew with electronic monitoring.
JANE HALLE, 46 and of Melbourne Road in Christchurch, admitted being in charge of a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol, namely 94 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in Canberra Road in Christchurch on April 29. She got ten points on her licence. She was also fined £478, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £191, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
ROBERT DAVIES, 33 and of Upper Terrace Road in Bournemouth, admitted assaulting a designated / accredited person / inspector in the Lower Gardens in Bournemouth on April 30. He admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order by being in the company of three or more people in the Lower Gardens in Bournemouth on April 30 which he was prohibited from doing by a criminal behaviour order made on December 21, 2023. He was conditionally discharged for a period of six months.
ELLIOT THOMAS, 21 and of Harries Avenue in Bournemouth, admitted drink driving, namely with 53 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in Charminster Road in Bournemouth on May 1. He was disqualified from driving for 15 months. He was also fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £48, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
STEPHEN SMITH, 52 and of Clifford Road in Bournemouth, admitted assault by beating after assaulting a woman in Clifford Road in Bournemouth on June 15. He was handed a community order lasting until January 7, 2026. He was also fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
GARETH GLENDOR PICTON, 43 and of no fixed address, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from a period of imprisonment. He was jailed for seven days.
