A NEW web page has been unveiled to mark the launch of a housing programme in the Dorset Council area.
The authority said its Home In On Housing programme will deliver it housing strategy, helped by the new website where residents can read about themes, aims and objectives of the council.
The themes include increasing housing supply, building healthy communities and homes for Dorset residents.
New Models of Housing Delivery was one of the first projects to start.
It will look at ways Dorset Council can help increase the number of low-cost homes for Dorset residents.
Cllr Gill Taylor, cabinet member for health and housing, said: “This is a bold and ambitious programme of work, to help us progress and deliver what we need to do, as soon as possible.
“There is a lot to cover, and I am pleased we are staring with New Models of Housing Delivery, to address the shortage of affordable homes and other key housing needs.
“This project and others will support open and honest discussions we are having as a council about housing and housing delivery.
“We will explore all the options carefully, working transparently, as we consider how best to meet the needs of our residents.”
