THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

PAUL JENNER, 43 and of Glider Close in Christchurch, admitted harassment - putting a person in fear of violence. Court records show that between September 15 and 24, 2023, in Christchurch, he caused a woman to fear that violence would be used against her by his course of conduct, which included sending messages of a violent nature. He was handed a community order lasting until January 8, 2026, with electronic monitoring, and a restraining order was made for the victim. He was also fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

DAVID ANTHONY WATERMAN, 55 and of Edward Road in Christchurch, admitted assault by beating after assaulting a woman in Edward Road in Christchurch on November 24, 2023. He admitted criminal damage to property after damaging a Vauxhall Corsa to the value of £724.79 in Edward Road in Christchurch on November 24, 2023. He admitted common assault of an emergency worker, namely a police officer, in Christchurch on November 24, 2023. He admitted commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order made by Poole Magistrates court on September 20, 2023. He was jailed for 12 months and ordered to pay compensation of £724.79. A restraining order was made for the assault by beating victim.

JOE WOODHALL, 29 and of Great George Street in Weymouth, admitted assault by beating after assaulting a woman in Walter Close in Chickerell on June 28. He was handed a community order lasting until July 8, 2026. He was also fined £120 and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

COSMIN GIUREA, 37 and of Richmond Hill Drive in Bournemouth, admitted driving while disqualified and without third party insurance on the A338 in Bournemouth on April 24. They were disqualified from driving for 12 months, ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and handed a community order lasting until July 7, 2025, with a requirement to complete 160 hours of unpaid work.

ROBERT BILBOR, 48 and of Kinson Road in Bournemouth, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on May 13. He was fined £153 and ordered to pay costs of £60.

MARK DAVIES, 33 and of West Way in Weymouth, admitted criminal damage to property after damaging a vehicle valued at £250 in Sandbanks Road in Poole on February 3. He was conditionally discharged for a period of six months and ordered to pay compensation of £200.

ROSS MCFADYEN, 45 and of Woolcombe Road in Somerset, was found guilty of two counts of obstructing/resisting a constable in their execution of duty after wilfully obstructing two police officers in West Borough in Wimborne on June 10, 2023. He was fined £180, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £72, and costs of £620 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

MATTHEW STEPHENSON, 19 and of Churchill Road in Poole, admitted assault by beating after assaulting a man in Temple bar in Bournemouth Road in Ashley Cross on September 30, 2023. He was handed a community order lasting until July 11, 2025, with a requirement to complete 100 hours of unpaid work. A restraining order was made for the victim, also banning the defendant from entering Temple until July 11, 2025. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
